Different people, situations, and types of poverty all call for different charitable responses, but how can we know which response is the appropriate one? That’s when the crucial Fourth Mark of Effective Charity comes into play–Discernment. James Whitford and Savannah Aleckson will lead the discussion over wise generosity that utilizes both heart and mind. We’ll talk about the importance of sharing relevant information with others in the charitable community as well as some 21st century tools that make collaboration easier than ever!
Join us on Thursday, January 24th from 12:00-1:15 pm in the Willard Learning Center at Watered Gardens. Suggested donation for lunch is $5. Make sure to RSVP today to reserve your spot!
