Pastors, missions leaders, and outreach staff are invited to gather with True Charity for an event on the importance of equipping the Church to empower individuals struggling in poverty.
True Charity’s Founder and CEO, Dr. James Whitford, will share his expertise from over 20 years of experience ministering to the poor in Southwest Missouri. Dr. Travis Hurley, VP of Advancement, will engage with participants from the perspective of a former pastor and current US Navy chaplain. Together, the two will outline practical and biblically-based guidance congregations can use to best address poverty needs.
